Intrigued? Read on to learn more! Job Summary The Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities Counts and tracks physical inventory Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management Records inventory counts in the accounting system Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls Prepares various reports and correspondence as required Performs other duties as required Job Summary High school diploma Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures Must be at least 18 years of age The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
